Data Management

Overview

BidWatch stores everything locally in your browser. The Data Management tools let you export, import, and manage your saved listings and settings.

Export

Click Export Backup in Settings to download a JSON file containing all your listings and settings. This file can be used as a backup or to transfer your data to another browser or device.

Import

Click Import Backup in Settings and select a previously exported JSON file. BidWatch validates the file before importing to ensure it is a valid BidWatch export. Your listings will be replaced with the imported listings, while settings are merged with your current preferences.

Clear Ended

Remove all ended auction listings from your dashboard. This only removes listings where the auction has finished, keeping active listings in place.

Clear All

Remove all listings from your dashboard. This is a permanent action and cannot be undone (unless you have a backup export).

Undo System

BidWatch has a built-in undo system. If you accidentally delete a listing or make an unintended change, you can undo it. The undo option appears briefly after certain actions.

Important Note About Import

Importing data will immediately void any active ad blocker trial to prevent abuse of the trial system. This applies regardless of the trial status in the imported file.
