Getting Started

What is BidWatch?

BidWatch is a free eBay auction tracker that lets you monitor multiple listings in one place. See live countdown timers, track price changes, compare items side-by-side, and get alerts when auctions are about to end.

Everything runs in your browser. Your listings and settings are stored locally on your device, so there is nothing to sign up for and no account required.

Adding Your First Listing

To start tracking an eBay listing, you just need its URL. Here is how:

1
Copy the URL of any eBay listing from your browser address bar.
2
Click the Add button (the + icon) in the BidWatch toolbar, or paste the URL directly into the input field.
3
Press Enter or click Add and BidWatch will fetch the listing details automatically.

BidWatch supports standard eBay URLs from ebay.com, ebay.co.uk, and other regional eBay sites, as well as shortened URLs like ebay.us/... links.

The Dashboard

Once you have added listings, the main dashboard shows each one as a card with key information:

Cards are displayed in a responsive grid that adapts to your screen size. On desktop you will see multiple columns, and on mobile they stack into a single column.

The Toolbar

The toolbar at the top of the page gives you quick access to all features:

On mobile, some toolbar buttons move into the overflow menu (the ⋯ button) to save space.

Tip: First time using BidWatch? The interactive tutorial walks you through every feature step by step. You can replay it any time from Settings.
